Welcome
Northside Presbyterian Church, reflecting the love of God, celebrates inclusion and diversity. Whoever you are, whatever your ancestry, ability, or identity, you are made in God's image. Wherever you are in your faith journey, come as you are. We welcome you and invite you to walk with us.
Our Mission Statement
Northside Presbyterian Church respects and welcomes everyone to walk with us in joyful Christian worship and fellowship. We are called by Jesus Christ to love, celebrate, and serve our community and the world; seeking, teaching, learning together.
Welcome one another, just as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God. (Romans 15:7)
Northside Presbyterian Church began its ministry in Blacksburg over seventy-five years ago with a commitment to welcome all those God sends, to love, support, and encourage one another on our journey of faith, and to witness to Jesus Christ in our world through our worship, study, fellowship, and community involvement. Today, we continue our mission as grateful and grace-filled followers of Jesus Christ, rejoicing in God's blessings, celebrating every person as a child of God, and seeking to love God and our neighbor.

About the Presbyterian Church
Presbyterians affirm that God comes to us with grace and love in the person of Jesus Christ, who lived, died, and rose for us so that we might have eternal and abundant life in him. As Christ's disciples, called to ministry in his name, we seek to continue his mission of teaching the truth, feeding the hungry, healing the broken, and welcoming strangers. God sends the Holy Spirit to dwell within us, giving us the energy, intelligence, imagination, and love to be Christ's faithful disciples in the world.
Presbyterian refers to the governmental structure of the church, led by Presbyters (from New Testament Greek meaning Elders). Elders provide the spiritual leadership of the church. We also have a board of Deacons to provide care for the members and community. Our board of Trustees care for the buildings and grounds, keeping them in excellent shape as our center of mission into the community.
