Coming Sunday and Beyond
This Sunday is the Fourth Sunday of Advent. Linda's message is “Being Dad (Love).” The choir will perform "Mary, Did You Know?" to enhance the worship service. Kay and Joe Hunnings will light the fourth Advent candle. We will also collect the Christmas Joy offering.
The Christmas Eve candlelight service will be on Wednesday, Dec. 23, at 7:30 p.m. The service on Sunday, Dec. 28, will be a service of carols and spiritual songs.
Bruce will not be in the office next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Dec. 23 and 24. The church office will be closed from Christmas Day, Dec. 25, until Jan. 2.

Christmas Joy
After the choir performed its beautiful cantata for the worship service, everyone enjoyed the Joy Gift lunch. The main dish was ham, with a variety of side dishes brought by members and friends. As always, the dessert table was loaded with goodies. After the lunch, there was an interactive program that involved all in telling the Christmas story.

Annual Reports It's coming up on that time again -- annual reports are due to be presented at the congregational meeting in January. Chairs of each committee and those in leadership positions should begin compiling your notes and data so you can have your full written report to Bruce by Dec. 30. Format isn't important because the content will be dropped into a template. Please email your report to secretary.northside@gmail.com |
