Coming Sunday
This Sunday is All Saints' Sunday. Linda will preach on “Blessed Saints.” The choir will sing “A Song of Thanksgiving” to enhance the worship service. We will celebrate communion.
Sunday School starts after Fellowship time. Kathy Carpenter will teach for the next 2 weeks on the book Anxious to Talk About It, Helping White Christians Talk Faithfully about Racism by Carolyn B. Helsel. The adult Bible study will continue with John, and the kids will be having a short learning time with Susan downstairs during church time after they have their time in the sanctuary.

Congratulations Congratulations to Dr. Joseph Lineweaver, who was one of the recipients of the 2025 Pioneer Award from the National Dairy Shrine. This award honors individuals and teams whose lifelong contributions have shaped the future of the dairy industry. He was recognized for his work in dairy cattle reproductive physiology and embryo transfer, which included "efforts in developing industry standards and mentoring others have made a profound impact on the field." Joe ensured there would be researchers and teachers to follow him by offering scholarships in his name and always making time to personally congratulate recipients. The award also mentions his role as a "respected mentor and innovator, [who] has helped shape not only better cattle but also better people throughout his remarkable career. Even into his 90s, he has remained active in the dairy community, embodying the values of lifelong service and innovation." |
